Northern Ireland-headquartered co-op, Dale Farm, has reported a \u00a396.6 million drop in group turnover to \u00a3631.4 million for the financial year ending March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dale Farm, which is owned by 1,300 dairy farmers across Northern Ireland, England and Scotland, had previously reported a group turnover of \u00a3728 million for the financial year ending March 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the drop in turnover, the latest financial results highlight that the co-op’s profit performance continued to improve for the third year in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its net profit<\/strong> before tax rose by 11% to \u00a329.8 million in the 12 months to March 2024 – up from \u00a326.8 million in the previous financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dale Farm co-op\u2019s EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) also increased to \u00a344.9 million – up from \u00a343 million a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
