Sinn F\u00e9in spokesperson on agriculture in Northern Ireland, Declan McAleer, wants a more flexible ammonia <\/a>strategy introduced, one which all farmers can buy into <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Co. Tyrone-based politician said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhile we support the goal of addressing the impacts of air pollution on the natural environment, we have a number of concerns around some proposed methods of evaluating and reducing ammonia emissions in a future operational protocol.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are concerned that a one-size-fits-all approach to ammonia reduction on farms would not be fair, effective or sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
