Over \u20ac2.6 million in outstanding scheme payments have been issued by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Farmers received a total of \u20ac1.58 million in 2023 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS) payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total, 119,498 farmers have now received BISS and CRISS payments totalling \u20ac822 million, according to DAFM figures published today (Friday, March 15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This figure includes the 2023 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers payments (\u20ac29.4 million), as well as the 2023 National Reserve (\u20ac4.2 million) payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outstanding Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS<\/a>) payments worth \u20ac739,866 were paid by the DAFM to farmers over the past seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Farmers also received a total of \u20ac230,000 in the DAFM\u2019s latest weekly payment run for the 2022 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC) schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just over \u20ac123,953 has been paid to farmers in the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS) this week. In total, 3,829 farmers have now received a total of \u20ac39.2 million for the 2023 OFS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A total of \u20ac10,000 was also issued by the DAFM in outstanding payments to farmers under the Green, Low-carbon, Agri-Environment Scheme (GLAS) over the past seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n GLAS was replaced by the new \u20ac1.5 billion Agri Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) under the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No payments were issued under the 2023 Eco Scheme, the Suckler Carbon Efficiency Programme (SCEP), the Shannon Callows Flood Scheme, or the Protein Aid Scheme 2023 this week.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
