‘Say Yes to the Dress’ – the RTE2 television programme – has lots of fans in rural Ireland. The good news for them, and for brides-to-be in search of the perfect wedding dress, is that the programme is returning for a second series.

Fermoy man Franc, aka Peter Kelly, and the team of consultants at Vows.ie, are seeking brides-to-be for the new series of ‘Say Yes to the Dress Ireland.’

Cameras will follow brides and their entourage through the Vows.ie bridal salon – which is stocked with over 3,000 wedding dresses from around the globe – as they try to find the design of their dreams.

Plenty of drama is assured as Franc and the consultants attempt to find common ground with the bride’s entourage from opinionated mums to best friends who are all convinced that they know best. The feedback from the bridal party adds to the entertainment value – and sometimes the poignancy – of the process.

For a past programme, one of the brides brought along a pair of wellies as she was marrying a farmer. He had hidden the engagement ring in one of the wellies and told his bride-to-be to look for something inside it. When she found the ring, he popped the question.

The producer wants to hear from all brides. This includes those with big and small budgets; traditional and non-traditional brides; those who have already searched high and low for a fairytale frock, and those who are only beginning the hunt.

If you are on the lookout for the ultimate gown and would love to find one while being filmed at Vows.ie then ‘Say Yes to the Dress Ireland’ wants you to get in touch.
